We are an experienced team of specialists who view our work as a mission. We strive to assist individuals in need of professional psychological or psychotherapeutic support. Our skills and extensive competencies have been developed through experiences in public institutions as well as from working with individual patients. We always adhere to professional ethics, demonstrating empathy and tolerance, aware of how significant comfort and safety are to effective therapy.
Our clinic is a place for psychological and psychotherapeutic support, created to heal and support individuals facing challenges and adversities associated with relocating to another country. We understand how difficult it is for families to navigate such challenging situations. Often, relationships between partners/spouses, children and parents undergo negative changes due to the challenges of living abroad. Individuals who come to the UK alone, often without the support of loved ones, also need someone to talk to.

We invite parents to consult with a specialist in any situation they believe requires professional insight. Consultations can be a one-time meeting or serve as an introduction to child, family or parental therapy.
Common reasons parents approach us:
-
concerns about the child's behaviour (sudden decline in school performance, difficulties in peer relationships, reluctance to attend school)
-
child's addiction to games or other online activities
-
excessive emotionality, frequent crying
-
aggressive behaviour towards peers, siblings or taking out frustrations on objects
-
difficulties in relationships with siblings or parents
-
changes in the child's life (relocation, school change, family illness, parental divorce)
-
recommendations from teachers or school psychologists
An initial meeting with the child's parents or guardians is necessary. Typically, therapy is conducted within the entire family system.
With youth, we work in areas important to them, such as:
-
challenges of growing up and teenage issues
-
school problems
-
deterioration in parent-child communication (family sessions recommended)
-
interpersonal problems, social skills
-
coping with stress
-
difficulties in making new acquaintances
-
difficulties related to change
-
self-acceptance
Psychotherapy is a treatment based on the relationship between the patient and the psychotherapist. This method allows for open conversation with someone who is objective, neutral and non-judgmental. The client and the psychotherapist work together to identify and change patterns of thinking or behaviour that prevent feeling better. By the end of therapy, not only will current problems be solved, but you'll also learn new skills to better handle challenges that may arise in the future.
Example areas of psychotherapist support:
-
anxiety, depression, panic attacks
-
feeling of constant tension and expecting the worst
-
feeling of being constantly on edge
-
difficulties in relationships
-
addictions, phobias, aggression
-
trauma and physical violence
-
grief and loss
-
loneliness and low self-esteem
-
eating disorders
